Tours within the Province
These
diversified tours are organized by travel agencies.
1.
Bãi Cháy - Hạ Long Bay:
4 to 8 hours
From Bãi Cháy Wharf,
visitors take a cruise on Hạ Long Bay. You will visit several
islands and famous grottoes such as: the Thiên Cung, Ðâu Gô,
Sung Sôt and Tam Cung grottoes.
A
lunch or dinner of seafood and traditional performance can also be
added.
2.
Bãi Cháy - Cát Bà Island: 8 to 12 hours
Depart
from Bãi Cháy Wharf, through Hạ Long Bay to Cát Bà Island.
Visit Cát Bà National Park.
This
program can be expanded if visitors wish to stay on the island.
3.
Bãi Cháy - Hạ Long City:
3 to 6 hours (by car)
This
is a Hạ Long City tour. You can visit several main streets of
Hạ Long City for sightseeing. Visit the Long Tiên Pagoda and
Hạ Long Market.
This program can also
link with other tours such as: Quảng Ninh Museum, Vietnam -
Japan Cultural House and Bài Thỏ Mountain.
4.
Bãi Cháy - Hạ
Long - Yên Tử Site: 8 to 12 hours (one day)
The
Yên Tử Site is the centre of Trúc Lâm Buddhism. It consists
of pagodas, temples, towers and statues. These spread from the foot
of Yên Tử Mountain to the top, which is at a height of 1,068
m.
It is
a pilgrimage tour, that goes back to the origin of the nation.
It
takes one hour by car from Bãi Cháy to Yên Tử. The best
time for visiting is between the 10th of the first lunar
month and the 10th of the third lunar month; Yên Tu's
festival season).
